Step-by-step deposit guide

Three taps, and you’re funded.

01

Get your Polymarket deposit address

Log into Polymarket and click "Deposit" in the top-right corner. You'll see your unique wallet address starting with 0x… Copy it.

Pro tip · Save your deposit address in your wallet's address book for one-tap future deposits.
02

Send USDC from any blockchain

Open your wallet (MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, Rainbow, etc.) and send USDC. Supported chains: Ethereum (higher gas), Arbitrum / Base / Optimism (low gas, fast), Polygon (lowest gas, already on the destination chain).

Pro tip · Make sure you're sending USDC, not USDT or another stablecoin. Polymarket only accepts USDC.
03

Wait for confirmation (usually instant)

Polymarket detects your deposit and credits your account automatically. Polygon → instant. Arbitrum / Base → 30–60s. Ethereum → 1–3 min depending on congestion.

Common deposit issues

If something looks wrong.

My deposit hasn't arrived after 5 minutes

Solution · check the blockchain explorer (Polygonscan) using your transaction hash. If the transaction succeeded, contact Polymarket support. Most delays are network congestion.

I sent USDT instead of USDC

Solution · Polymarket only accepts USDC. Swap your USDT to USDC first (Uniswap or any DEX on Polygon), then send USDC to Polymarket.

Gas fees are too high on Ethereum

Solution · use Arbitrum or Base instead. Gas fees are 95% lower, and Polymarket still receives your USDC instantly.

Deposit FAQ

Frequently asked.

Do I need to bridge USDC to Polygon manually?
No. Polymarket handles cross-chain deposits automatically. Send USDC from any chain, and it appears in your Polymarket wallet on Polygon.
What's the minimum deposit amount?
There's no minimum, but consider gas fees. Depositing $10 with $5 in gas fees isn't practical. Aim for at least $50–100 to make gas costs negligible.
Can I deposit from a centralized exchange (Coinbase, Binance)?
Yes. Make sure you're withdrawing USDC to the Polygon network (not ERC-20). Most exchanges support Polygon USDC withdrawals with very low fees.
How long do deposits take?
Most deposits appear in under 1 minute. Cross-chain deposits (Ethereum, Arbitrum, etc.) may take 1–3 minutes due to bridging.
